Senator Lorraine R. Inouye

We’re Purpled up!!

“Purple Up for the National Month of the Military Child” is an annual observance that allows all Americans to celebrate military children. Purple references the joint environment of the military – encompassing all service branches, , Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Veterans, and encourages everyone to wear purple.
The Hawai’i State Senate recognizes all military-connected children and we join our country in celebrating the resiliency of military-connected children for their tremendous service and sacrifice at home in the U.S. and overseas.

Julie Tulang

I support Lorraine. She is very experienced and committed to the needs of our island community.

Eric Tanouye Green Point Nurseries

Senator Inouye has been a tenacious advocate for reducing barriers and advancing agriculture in our state, especially Hawaii County. For her, it’s a lifelong commitment, growing from her roots in the plantations. I wholeheartedly support her reelection.

Barbara Hastings

Lorraine’s being on the Senate Ways and Means Committee gives her critical input on where the state’s money is spent. In my view, she has always exercised that position carefully.
